Our aim is to recycle unwanted bicycles and make them available to members of the community who have little spare money to buy a new bicycle for themselves or their family. Once a bicycle has been chosen it is overhauled by a qualified mechanic ready for use. We ask for a modest donation to cover the costs of operating this service.
We also offer low-cost bicycle maintenance. This service is only for bicycles at the budget end of the market. If you can afford a bicycle worth more than £150, then take it to one of the local shops.
The company makes no profit, and no-one involved receives any reward for volunteering their services. All surplus funds are re-invested into providing the above services.recyclethen
Get a Bike
Search our range of stock bicycles, request one that meets your need, and we will overhaul it ready for you to ride. Please consider making a donation to cover the cost of our service.
Have a growing family? Use our service to exchange their bicycles as they grow. We offer this service to the whole community and not just those in economic hardship.
If we have a bicycle donated that is too good to give away, we offer them for sale. All revenue is used to provide our services. See the For Sale page
Bike Maintenance
If you have a bicycle we have supplied, or a low value bicycle that is uneconomic to repair at the local bicycle shop, then we offer low-cost maintenance, ensuring that your ride stays safe and reliable.
We do not maintain bicycles worth more than £150.
Bike Maintenance Training
Would you and your friends or your club benefit from some tailored maintenance training? Why not consider us for the task?
Our experienced tutors deliver bicycle mechanic training for the MoD in the Garrison.
We would expect a donation for this service.
Impact of Donations
Donations enable us to provide bicycles to disadvantaged members of the local community for free. For many people, a bicycle is the only form of transport that they can afford.
Donations allow us to provide a maintenance service to those in economic hardship and ensure that their bicycle is safe to ride.
Donations also allow us to offer an upgrade service to families. As your children grow, we can swap out their bicycles to keep them riding the right sized, and safe bicycles.
Safety and Security
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we’re able hold a small stock of helmets, lights and locks.
These are available to purchase at cost when you take one of our bicycles.
